About
I have worked at the front lines of healthcare for 22 years in all kinds of setting from specialist surgical centres to rural family practices. Prior to being a doctor I was a pharmacist. I was dedicated to my foundations studies gaining a distinction in the medical degree and a 1st class master’s in pharmacy. This knowledge base allows me to vitally understand problems as they relate to our bodies and our wider lives. It is an honour to use these skills in caring for people.
I first worked as a doctor in an East London emergency department and remained in hospital practice for 8 years including 4 as a specialist trainee within ENT and head and neck cancer. Through this I become a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MRCS). There are few core specialties untouched in my experiences: paediatrics, cardiology, maternity, eyes, breast surgery, spinal surgery (I’ve had two spinal operations myself). My unique holistic approach could really be evidenced when I become a GP in 2017.
Since 2019 I have become a key opinion leader and expert on the urgent health crisis of antibiotic resistance. My work here shapes national and global policy for health, economy and the environment. I collaborate with innovators, vets startups, politicians and economics professors to embed essential and novel solutions. We must avert this crisis.
Throughout this time I never stopped working as a GP. My next step is to embark on the antipodes as I take on a specialist role in Australia. I am excited and for this immense opportunity to shape the health and vitality of a new community.
I hope to have the opportunity to one day provide you and your family with optimal holistic healthcare or partner you in navigating challenges of illness and disease.
Please feel free to reach out on any of the above.
